Mr. Tenzin Dorji has led Bhutan’s transport and infrastructure sectors for over two decades. Since 2017, he has served as Director General of the Department of Surface Transport, overseeing policy and infrastructure development. Previously, he was Director of the Department of Roads and Department of Engineering Services.
With experience in rural roads, irrigation, and public works, he has played a key role in national development. He holds an MSc in Water Resource Management from the University of Melbourne and a BE in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
