Worked as an irrigation engineer in the Department of Agriculture for over 8 years. Main responsibilities were development of irrigation infrastructure throughout the country. In addition to construction of irrigation structures, was also involved in formation of Water User’s Associations.
Ms. Sonam Lhamo has over fifteen years of experience in the field of Foreign Direct Investment. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance from the Australian National University under Endeavour Awards. She currently serves as Deputy Chief Industries officer at the Invest Bhutan Division, Department of Industry, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment.
