We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Green Bhutan Corporation Limited (GBCL) and the De-suung Skilling Programme (DSP) on March 21, 2025. This collaboration aims to create meaningful employment opportunities for trained De-suups by providing structured business models, mentorship, and financial support for entrepreneurial ventures.
The DSP, initiated under the Royal Command of His Majesty the King in April 2021, equips Bhutanese youth with valuable skills, enhancing their ability to contribute to the nation’s economic growth. This partnership with GBCL will focus on empowering De-suups to establish and manage café businesses, aligning with DSP’s vision of fostering self-reliance through skill-based entrepreneurship.
Through this partnership, GBCL and DSP reaffirm their commitment to youth empowerment, skill development, and economic sustainability. We look forward to seeing De-suups thrive as successful entrepreneurs, contributing to Bhutan’s social and economic progress.
